Slate

Slatestone is a very fine grained metamorphic rock usually composed of mica, chlorite and quartz. The rock shale is applied to high heat and pressure, then the fine particles are melted together to form slate. It is a very durable and long lasting rock. Slatestone is available in different colors, size, thickness and this is a hard, dark-colored stone widely used for the construction of several buildings.
